David Schrempf has been guiding individuals, families, and businesses through complex financial decisions since 2009. As a financial advisor and licensed insurance professional, he specializes in corporate retirement plans—including 401(k), 403(b), Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, and Executive Compensation plans—and Corporate Benefits such as Health Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, and Wellness Plans. For individual clients, David offers advice on life insurance, disability, long-term care, and annuities.
David holds Series 6, 63, and 65 FINRA securities licenses and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is certified in Lean Manufacturing through the University of Michigan. A graduate of University High School in West Los Angeles, David also spent time as an AFS Exchange Student in Australia.
Before entering the financial services industry, David built a diverse career across multiple sectors, including dental products, non-profits, and consumer packaged goods. His experience spans operations, global logistics, marketing, sales, finance, and product development. He has founded and operated his own small business, led a non-profit organization, overseen corporate mergers, and managed divisions of multinational corporations. This breadth of experience gives him a unique perspective on the financial challenges people face at all levels. Today, David leverages this experience to help his clients navigate their financial goals and challenges.
David is deeply committed to his community and passionate about giving back. He has spoken at institutions such as Johns Hopkins, MD Anderson, the National Association of Oncology Social Workers, and the Santa Barbara Cancer Center on managing finances during medical crises. He serves on the scholarship committee for The Westlakers, helping award college scholarships to outstanding local students, and is an active member of ProVisors. Additionally, David is a Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol.
Outside of work, David enjoys photography, archery, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his amazing wife, Lynn Schrempf, and their two sons, Max and Julian. The Schrempf family are lifelong animal lovers, sharing their home with three dogs and one cat, while also fostering dozens of animals over the years.
